张英男,浙江大学公共管理学院土地管理系副研究员,硕士生导师,中国土地学会青年工作委员会委员,浙江大学城镇化与空间治理研究中心及浙江省地理学会人文地理专业委员会秘书长,浙江省国土空间治理专业委员会委员,resources, environment and sustainability 青年编委,《热带地理》青年编委。主要研究兴趣包括食物系统转型与耕地保护、乡村土地商品化与空间治理等。近年来,在journal of rural studies, land use policy, cities, planning theory & practice 等期刊发表论文40余篇,研究成果入选esi高被引论文及被人大复印资料全文转载。在“光明网”、浙江省社科理论平台“之江策”等媒体发表多篇观点文章。主持或参与国家自科基金青年项目、国家自科基金重点项目、国家社科基金重大项目、国家重点研发项目等。获中科院院长奖,中国科协优秀科技论文奖(第七届),扶贫开发工作成效第三方评估先进个人(国务院扶贫开发领导小组颁发)等十余项荣誉奖励。

driven by the policy or bent by the market? cracking the code of plastic-mulched farmland expansion in china
the commodification of food has led to a surge in greenhouse-mulched farmland, with significant implications for global food security. in china, government policies aimed at localizing food production has a marked impact on land use patterns, in conjunction with market forces. however, a dearth of literature on the effects of government intervention on urban food security has prompted scrutiny. moreover, there is limited discernment regarding the preponderance of influence between market forces and policy intervention, and their interdependence. we employed spatial lag tobit and brt models to examine the dynamics and drivers of greenhouse-mulched farmland growth. our analysis reveals that the promotion of state-led food localization policy significantly stimulates the development of greenhouse-mulched farmland, albeit subject to a stronger influence from market proximity. the establishment of vegetable production bases can alleviate the impact of market proximity, thus enhancing the feasibility of greenhouse farming in remote areas. policy effects are also moderated by transportation location, signaling a complex interplay between policy tools and market mechanisms. our simulation results confirm that robust interventions in state-led food localization and farmland preservation effectively foster the expansion of greenhouse-mulched farmland. enhancing road connectivity and soil fertility represents potential avenues for expanding the acreage of greenhouse-mulched farmland.
